COMMANDERS CUT DAY
Bob and Mike react to Washington’s final preseason game, roster cuts, waiver-wire fallout, and the 53-man roster heading into Week 1.
We hit Instant Replay to see where we were right — and wrong — on last week’s predictions, break down the WR room, QB3, Sam Hartman, the secondary, and the biggest concern of all: that offensive line.
Plus: Cut Day winners and surprises, things get SPICY over Dan Quinn and the O-line, more Sam Hartman slander, Hail Yes • Hail • Hail No, and the usual fourth-quarter hodgepodge.
We also have a special challenge for our loyal listeners in Washington, Oregon and Singapore.
The preseason is over. The roster is taking shape.
Next week… we start talking REAL football.

This is the Command the Commute Podcast.
SPEAKER_04Talking about the game, going to the game.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, see, you know, you get the press some buttons. You press the wrong button.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's because you started before. But you know, hail to the red.
SPEAKER_06Hail to the command. I went road. You just pressed the wrong button. If you if you felt like the intro was restarting, it's because it was. Thank you to our executive producer, Michael Berger. Hey, you're welcome. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Let's not use our full.
SPEAKER_06Hey, Bob Bagdole, Michael Berger, Command the Commute Podcast. Welcome to another episode. This is kind of like uh week negative one. If because next week's week zero, and the following week is week one. So we're in negative week one. Cut day it was yesterday, waiver wire day today. Um so we've got plenty to discuss. Quarter one, just kind of to set the expectation, our agenda for the for the pod. Quarter one, we're touching on the preseason. Quarter two, we're gonna do uh uh an instant replay segment for quarter two, basically touching on what we said last week and if we were right or if we were wrong, and what the what that meant for for cut day. And then quarter three, just gonna kind of preliminarily touch on our, you know, well, it's just kind of a gut check where what our concerns are, where we're confident in, kind of, you know, what position groups or coaching uh discussions that we have. And then of course, quarter four, we just pretty much talk about whatever pops into pops into our mind.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, that's the most unscripted part of the entire well.
SPEAKER_06Really, this whole thing's not very scripted, but uh we we kind of briefly just touch on what what's on our mind. We have a little thing written down, but other than that, we just kind of that's what I mean. Like there's really no direction, especially when we're on the road, there's really there's absolutely no script because I'm asking you, you know, what do we got out that window? What else we got out that window? Obviously, for our loyal listeners, you all know that uh we talk about the game on the way to the game. We press record when we leave the driveway and we upload when we get to the stadium. But if you're new to the podcast, typically that's what we're doing. But when there is no game to go to, we just record from uh the office studio here where we stare at uh a beautiful portrait of uh Sean Taylor. And I've got a honch punch of things in the office here at Redskins Commander Washington football team and otherwise. But check out our TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook pages to get a glimpse of where we're recording from if you care. But the cool episodes are well we hope they care.
SPEAKER_04We we want the likes, the follows, the retweets, all of that.
SPEAKER_06And by the way, our TikTok's pretty good, pretty doing pretty good, Mikey. I've been doing a day, I've been doing a daily calendar where you know the Washington Commander's calendar. I know you got one for Christmas. Yes. Have you been keeping up on it? No, you don't need to. Now that you've got our our TikTok, you just kind of tune over into TikTok and I pretty much read the that but you know a lot of people like that. You know, if you don't if you don't you don't need to buy that calendar if you end up just could just follow along.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, if you just get on TikTok every day and follow us, then I'll tell you the daily Redskins trivia. Today's trivia was um I don't know. I forget the question, but the answer was what is our monk? Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, checks out. Yeah, all-time receiving leader in 1984, something like that. I don't know. Uh record setting. I I forget the exact question, but the old heads out there know exactly what the question was and what the answer was all.
SPEAKER_04It seems like you nailed it.
SPEAKER_06So let's just let's get started. All right, let's get into our first quarter.
SPEAKER_00Johnson for the touchdown. It is a 40 burger for the Ravens. 41-30 Ravens Game Day Network.
SPEAKER_0640 burger, Michael Burger. They put up a a 40 burger on us, the Ravens here. On a scale from one to who gives a shit. Where do you fit that 41 to 3 ass whooping against the Ravens in preseason?
SPEAKER_04I don't give a shit.
SPEAKER_06All right, so you're all the way.
SPEAKER_04It's preseason, so that's number one. And number two, it's it's preseason. Like it doesn't matter. You're playing against, you know, we're playing people that nine times out of the ten probably didn't even make the damn team. So it doesn't matter. On both sides. Yeah. Okay. It just doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I understand that that um side of the argument of basically uh a bunch of commanders players that make the team or playing against a bunch of Ravens players that didn't make their team. So who gives a shit?
SPEAKER_04The only part of the concern is if that even with whoever is on the team, if that truly is like, you know, your second or third string and we might need them, that doesn't bode well. It could be, you know, look at anything that happened last season kind of thing. Um, but I really take it with a grain of salt. I really do.
SPEAKER_06Well, how do you how do you rank our performance against Detroit? I mean, not as bad as uh not as bad as against the Ravens, but Yeah, but do you also scale it on the same scale as who gives a shit? Or do you put a little bit more into it because we did actually have some players that are on the team perform and I mean I don't I don't like preseason.
SPEAKER_04I find it to be a complete waste.
SPEAKER_06I could see the argument of changing preseason to just a plethora of joint practices.
SPEAKER_04Because that's really all it is.
SPEAKER_06Take the four teams that are in your immediate vicinity, whoever's closest to you, um, and you know, draw strings for who has to travel to where, or maybe it's not even a draw strings, but it's like who can, you know, how and by strings you mean straws, so I don't know. Whatever. But you you but but I'm saying like, you know, just have a bunch of joint practices for two to three days as opposed to that's all it is, it's a glorified practice game. Yeah, yeah. I mean it's easy for the for Washington and uh Baltimore to do that. And you know, would it be that difficult for us to skip up to uh to to Philly or New York? No, but would we also want to? No, not for a reason. Would we skip on over to Cleveland to have a joint practice? Yeah. Would we go up to Pittsburgh? Yeah. Would we go down to the Panthers? Yeah. So I think I wouldn't be opposed to eliminating the preseason games because uh we set 41 players, 41 starters, 41 players that are gonna make the team didn't play. Now that still leaves 50 players, but 53 make the team. So what's the difference between 41 and 53 12? Yeah, so you you're sitting half you're sitting half the feet. But that's the thing, not all of them are on the bubble. Of those 12 guys, the coach already knew however many of them was going to make the final.
SPEAKER_04And if you look at how many people we just signed to the practice squad, we essentially re-signed probably, you know, those 12 people that in theory we're talking about.
SPEAKER_06And I really do think that's kind of because you do need the practice squad players. So that's really where that's really who's vying for a job out there. It's not who makes the final roster, because if you make the practice squad, you have a chance to make the roster throughout the season, correct, depending upon injury and all that stuff. So you put no weight on the actual games that in this era of the NFL when it comes to that stuff. Yeah, yeah. You put no weight on the score. I never have. I put a little bit of weight on it. I'm probably on a I'm probably a seven on the who gives a shit scale. Um, only because yeah, none of the players were there, but a 41 to three performance s says something. Whether it be on the the players, the depth, the the the GM, the the coaching, um the coordinators, the the scheme, the preparedness, the hypedness, what whatever, a 41 to 3 performance even in a preseason game is pathetic.
SPEAKER_04No, no argument.
SPEAKER_06So even though you don't give a shit at all about it and hold little to no weight, I I and I can see it totally, but I'm also on the thing of I can understand from Detroit, you know, I would have liked to see our starters put more than a three-play drive. I can understand if the mindset was truly, I don't care what happens after this drive, the starters are coming out. I I can see that.
SPEAKER_04But I can also say always make sense and appreciate it.
SPEAKER_06I can also say, like, yeah, one series, but we'll see. We'll see. But after that three out, it's kind of like, what do we need to see? Get his ass out there. Because after uh like our O-line is if you if you rewind a couple episodes ago, which is what we're gonna do in the second quarter here, um, we're not gonna rewind back to what I'm talking about right now. But if we rewound it and went back to our depth check when we talked about the offensive line, then at that point in training camp, we were a little bit more optimistic. And then Al Gretti started getting his calf cramps and then Tunzel um got his That was before all of that. Yeah. So at this point in in the preseason and now end season, where in we are officially in week negative one into the regular season.
SPEAKER_04And if you're not concerned about the O-line, you're what the hell are you doing?
SPEAKER_06Well, you gotta be concerned over the O-line, but they see him practice.
SPEAKER_04Well, you got to, but some people aren't.
SPEAKER_06Well, you there was a press conference a little bit ago, and we're gonna touch on that in our third quarter, and we'll have to tease for that. But until we get there, we just to say, you know, what more did you need to see out of Jaden Daniels in that second preseason game? I don't uh that's the whole argument that we had last pod list, whether or not he needed to come out to begin, go in the to the game to begin with. Um and you say no, but at the same time, how much do we really need to see out of Sam Hartman? Not a lot. You've seen enough. I've seen enough. I've seen enough. And you know. It it is what it is, but I would like to see some type of a a change to preseason because really it's not worth the the price for season ticket holders to pay a dime for. It's not worth it. Yeah, it's it's really not. Thank God we didn't go to that Ravens game. We were thinking about it. Oh my god, yeah. We were thinking about it. And if not the the Beltway battle happening and it being a kind of a highly sought-after game for um, you know, families uh in turmoil with Redskins and and Ravens fans in the same household, I'm sure, is a very popular game for that for preseason and for families too. Um my my nephew went to that game uh for his birthday because his birth because the ticket prices are next to nothing. You can get a group game going and it's a it's a fun Friday night. But for us to scoot out of work at five o'clock and go sit in traffic um and the tickets weren't all that cheap, let's be honest. They they fluctuated. There was probably a week and we mentioned it in that podcast where the ticket prices were around 17 bucks. But after we had mentioned it, I guess everybody heard our podcast and went up and drove the ticket prices up because at one point the cheapest ticket in the stadium was a hundred bucks. And then that's crazy. And then uh I think for a preseason game, you don't spend that kind of money. A day or two before the game, I had checked prices and they had gotten up to like 30, uh, 35, 36, 37, which isn't hateful. And I'm sure as the game got closer and closer, people were just trying to get rid of them. But yeah, I I I and I wasn't about to do that same Friday night preseason game that we did to drive down to DC, get to the game late, sit in traffic, get be all frustrated, not have enough time to tailgate, have any fun, go in, it's just and watch a bunch watch a bunch of guys that aren't gonna be on the team.
SPEAKER_04I mean, we did that in you know, in our home preseason game.
SPEAKER_06And it it's crazy because it's a testament to what the product on the field really means to be able to go to one of those games. They're exhausting to go to for the fan base, uh, as opposed to just sitting up. The alternative is sitting on your couch in comfort and correct and and you know, not spending a dime, right? Versus it's it's a handful to go to these games. I don't care if you live right across the street, but for us to drive an hour and a half to go to the game and an hour and a half back and then enjoy ourselves while we're there, which is why we like to do it. We like to make a big event out of it. Obviously, we create the damn podcaster out of how much we love going to these damn games. But you know, if the game, if the product on the field sucks, then you know it's not worth being at so much so to where how much fun do we have at the boxcar game to where you know that was you know what I mean? And because not just the product on the field is why we were there. The minor league baseball games have really captured, you know, they they really capture a certain energy, and and not that's that's not to say that they don't do that at the NFL games too, but on a large scale like that is it's really hard to do that. Yeah, and for like minor league 40,000 people. One, it's close.
SPEAKER_04Your commute is 15 minutes, two, it's a small stadium, so there's not a bad seat anywhere. And it's just the tickets are super cheap. So it's just a it's a cheap, fun thing to do in your local town.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. The boxcar game was so fun. Yeah. I mean, those seats were my company's tickets for right down on the field. If anybody uh is is I've never sat in those seats before. I always wondered how you got those seats, or like, but now I know, yeah, you know, anybody's from the Hagerstown area uh or Washington County or surrounding area, you should definitely check out a Hagerstown boxcar game. Um and definitely try to get those those first three rows behind home plate because they're sunk in. And so if you're sitting on that front row, your eye level is probably a foot and a half above the ground. So you're at like the catcher's mit um eye level. And then obviously we were sitting on the second row up, which kind of put us right at the umpire, right? And then third row, uh just a smidge high up from there. But man, the and we're and we're basically sitting in the dugout.
SPEAKER_04I know. Well, yeah, that's how you got to the seats. You you went down like you were a player and walked.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's uh how I figured out how to get to my seats was I'd passed a player. He was gonna use the restroom. He's like, Are you trying to get to your seats? I'm like, Yes, please. And he's like, just go up there when you hit the dugout, hang it right. Okay, and so that's how that went down. But yeah, the boxcar games and the little league game, or not the little league, the uh minor league minor league, the they're they're just a blast. They've really been able to capture like what people r really love about baseball. Uh and the Savannah Bananas, man, they've taken a minor league game and turned it somehow into like a whole production.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but I'm not paying like 300 bucks for a ticket to a savannah banana game. I tell you what, though, man, I I would love to go to that, but I'm not paying that kind of money. I just will not go.
SPEAKER_06I tell you what, though, I bet everybody that goes to those games tells you that the ticket price is is worth it. But I hear you. To to take three people to one of those games and it costs you a grand is a little bit much.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I hear you. I hear you. But hey, I want to get into um kind of what the instant replay segment was designed for to a degree. We wanted the instant replay segment to be what people commented on the last uh episode on what we said said wrong and what we said right. But I'm gonna call us out and do an instant replay and call us out on what we said right and what we said wrong for for this week's episode.
SPEAKER_02Let's see that in an instant replay.
SPEAKER_06Will Robert Henry Jr. make the team? I don't know. He look, I I kind of like the way he looks, but will he look that way against first stringers? I don't know. They would know because they practice.
SPEAKER_04And just because you have one good game, that doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna make the team, okay? You're gonna have one good game or one good series or whatever, and it it doesn't seal the deal for you. They they will cut you 9 a.m. the next day and not think twice about it.
SPEAKER_06Um you like to think Catron's gonna make the team because he's the rookie, but I mean, they're both rookies, but Catron was drafted. I I think Jerome Fords, the odd man out in the running back room, is when you have guys like Jaden Bradley, who had the awesome one-handed catch in yesterday's game.
SPEAKER_03Kind of you're like, Yeah, I mean that was pretty awesome.
SPEAKER_06I I will give it an awesome catch. It was an awesome catch from um what's the guy's name? Kalam Kamak in this? Uh Praying Mannis. Praying manis.
SPEAKER_04You like praying manace. Kalikazoo, who cares? Yeah. But I mean, he he's had pretty good preseason two games. He's he's he's he's he's done well enough to be in discussion as to whatever they're gonna do with quarterback.
SPEAKER_06Got Terry McLaurin, Stefan Diggs, McCaffrey, Williams, Brown, Lane, Jefferson, Nash, Jones, and Bradley. That are those are all the wide receivers listed on the depth chart. Now, Bradley, I don't I don't know just because I said his name last, I mean, I don't know if he was dead last on their death, official death chart. Yeah, who knows? So I want you to assume that we're gonna take six guys on the active roster. Okay, I need to do that is ten. So tell me four names that aren't going to make the team out of those ten names that I just went through.
SPEAKER_03That's easy, it's the bottom four. Jefferson, Jones, Nash, and Bradley. Boom.
SPEAKER_06My instant replay. This is us live now, just so people know, because that clips was our voice, and so now it's but that was last week. Now this is back to us. Right. I tried to put some sound effects in there so people would know the difference because it's not like we aged or anything.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_06So we're last we nailed it, bro. Yeah, maybe almost nailed it.
SPEAKER_04We're rarely ever wrong.
SPEAKER_06Almost nailed it.
SPEAKER_04Unless Tom is less than a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit more.
SPEAKER_06There was one mistake, and I made sure to put it in that sound bite, but there was one mistake from that. Um when I was rambling off wide receivers, I forgot to say Burks. I forgot to say Burks last week. So when we were going through our list and we were trying to figure out who makes the team, Burks was left out of my list. But I think we both would have agreed that he was gonna make the team after the play of the year last year. The catch of the year, I should say. Um, so let's kind of get into um cut day. Uh we've been I I think. Thought that we might take four running backs. We didn't. I mean, maybe we did. We kind of did because um what's his name? Uh McNichols is uh on the IR. Correct. So we've got on our week one roster as of right now, because if you listen to Dan Quinn and Adam Peters' uh press conference today, which I recommend everybody go back to listen to, and we'll have one little soundbite here later on in the pod. But uh I recommend go back and listen to that. They were very revealing today. Um, you know, that our our guys are pretty transparent. Uh a lot of other organizations cloth hold things really close to the chest. Um historically, you know, you you couldn't get anything out of Belichick, right? He was he was kind of like the upper echelon of like, I ain't gonna tell you nothing. And then you've got um, I would say we're kind of in the middle of the pack there. Um you got guys like historically, like Mike McDaniel, who would he'd say way too much. You know, those make for like the the best sound bites, but uh when coaches just say way too much, they historically don't really last that long either. Um Dan Quinn and and Dana Peters are somewhere in the middle, and and maybe that's by design. You want people to know that we're still looking because our roster's definitely not complete. Uh Bill, uh Rashad White and Katron Allen uh are our running backs. Uh obviously, we cut um Jerome Ford and Henry Jr. are uh preseason uh highlight reel, basically, in that first and uh a couple plays there in the in the second uh preseason game. But he's gone, but is he gone, Henry Jr.? Is he gone gone?
SPEAKER_04Um as far as I know, yeah. Is he on our practice squad? Oh no, yeah, sorry. Um I was going through a couple different screenshots of information, but yeah, we we signed him today back to the uh back to the practice squad.
SPEAKER_06And then uh wide receiver, we took seven. I thought maybe we would just stick with six, which is why the whole conversation even happened last week's episode was who we were gonna take. I thought based upon six, but we ended up taking seven uh wide receivers, and that being obviously Diggs, Terry, Antonio Williams, Luke McCaffrey, Traylon Burks, um Jalen Lane, and Deami Brown uh wraps out our wide receivers. Um was a little bit surprised also that four uh tight ends, but tight ends historically being very good special teams players, so uh with some question marks happening at offensive line, I'm I'm not surprised a little bit that there's an extra tight end there. I don't know if four tight ends is that common around the league. I'd I'd really like to see a snapshot like a spreadsheet of the teams, the position group, and how many that they chose to carry at each position. Because there's some teams.
SPEAKER_04Well, I do know Cleveland's carrying four quarterbacks. I did catch.
SPEAKER_06And you were mentioning yesterday in a text message thread that we're a part of that uh Miami only had one as of yesterday.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, for a short time they only had one until um they traded with somebody I can't remember.
SPEAKER_06Minnesota? Green Bay. Green Bay. Green Bay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. They traded for somebody in on Green Bay. But man, they are But yeah, for a for a hot minute yesterday, they only had one quarterback on their roster in Miami.
SPEAKER_06Well, speaking of position groups that you really don't have a lot of depth in, we only have three cornerbacks because Trey Amos was designated to the IR uh to start the season. And then outside of that, we've got Douglas Sanestro and Amik Robertson. Uh so we definitely are looking at cornerback because I you're not taking three corners. You're not taking three corners. And also the I I was kind of surprised, and I would see safety very similar as tight end to where those guys are probably very good special teamers. So we do have five safeties on the squad, but maybe we felt it necessary to keep an extra defensive back so we could get another defensive back. Trade piece, got it. You know what I mean? That's kind of where my head's at, because why would we keep five safeties and only three corners?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean, you you're right. It stands that the the roster isn't quite done. They still have you know a week, essentially.
SPEAKER_06Uh and why Tunsil wasn't uh automatically put on the IR to start off with was a little bit confusing because you can do that. I thought that was kind of anticipated right off the bat, but maybe there's still we I just assumed it was already done, tell you the truth. No, it's not. As of this podcast, he's not on the IR.
SPEAKER_04So we'll leave that to another brilliant decision by our head coach.
SPEAKER_06There's there's a lot of question marks. Um not necessarily as pu puzzle pieces. Not not I I mean, I'm I'm I'm cool. I'm cool with the with the roster. What do you think? I mean, you kind of knew that we were gonna take your boy uh praying manis.
SPEAKER_04Um so but I mean, and we God, we knew I mean that was the least surprising thing.
SPEAKER_06I mean, not not to me. You know what the least surprising thing is? Sam Hartman re-signed to the practice squad.
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, that I was gonna follow up on one, it wasn't surprising that we cut him, but then um when I got here before we, you know, went on air and saw that we re-signed him, it was like me.
SPEAKER_06I'm on record.
SPEAKER_04Because, like, what why are we re-signing him to the practice squad? Because I I don't understand it. He had a shot last season. We could have used him, but we didn't. We chose not to, okay? So it makes sense to release him when you have this guy, you know, praying manace, you know, Gallifhenakus, whatever. Okay. It makes sense.
SPEAKER_06Gallicomanis? Yeah. I feel like I just nailed it. There you go. G Gallicomanis.
SPEAKER_04There you go.
SPEAKER_06No, no, I said it. Well, I don't know what I just said. Doesn't matter. You didn't say it.
SPEAKER_04Play it next week, the instant replay, okay?
SPEAKER_06Uh but we I hope we don't I don't I hope we never say his name. I hope he never sees the figure.
SPEAKER_04We cut him. There's no reason to re-sign him. So why are we re-signing him to practice squad? Because we already know that we're even if there is an in injury, God forbid, and he goes to the major officer, he ain't gonna do anything but warm the goddamn bench. So what are we doing?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I uh he he's what are we doing? He's so confusing. I uh it is so confusing. I need to re I wonder if he was asked uh if DQ or uh uh Peters was asked about it, but I mean maybe he's maybe he's just a really good practice scout team quarterback. Maybe he can run like that.
SPEAKER_04That's not a good enough reason. I don't know. Yeah, all right. And it can't be because uh I mean, realistically, right? It can't be because he's the pretty boy quarterback, right? Like it that can't be the sole reason, like that can't be the justification.
SPEAKER_06I mean, right the only other thing that I could think of, Mike, is because I would like it to be it's maybe it's a mentality thing of your starting quarterback. Maybe they really are just good, really good friends, really good buddies, and you know, they don't want to shake the mentality of the starting quarterback, you know. They don't want to mess with anything. You know, if he's if Jaden's happy with with Hartman in the room and they get along and he's a good coworker, then keep him around uh because he's not gonna be able to do it.
SPEAKER_04But he serves no purpose. He must serve a purpose in this. He must serve a purpose. In this scenario that we're living, Mariota is out for the foreseeable future.
SPEAKER_06No, no, that's not true. That's not true. Not not as of today. As of today, Al Gretti, uh Mariota, um a uh Daron Payne, and I forget the other uh player that was was dealing with injury throughout training camp, but they are all projected to be all ready to go by week one.
SPEAKER_03Okay, all right, okay.
SPEAKER_06So I also wouldn't be surprised if our boy Praying Manis, Galifanacus, Callan Camanis, is ready to go four week, or no, I mean off the active roster on week one because other people have made it. I I I wouldn't be surprised if just over the next couple weeks he's on the 53 and then just gets dropped down. I don't know how that goes, but like that doesn't make any sense.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it just doesn't.
SPEAKER_06Because then why because why that because Hartman is still a question mark. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04And the next the next well, no, I w I won't say that.
SPEAKER_06He's Hartman this better be his last season, is all I'm gonna do. I'll and I'll end with that. This better be Hartman's last season as a commander because I'm tired of him. Just on the team. You can't be on the practice squad for four seasons in a row and and and have no op no chance to get elevated to the starting position.
SPEAKER_04And when you had the chance they specifically chose not to do it.
SPEAKER_06I told you last week that he if we cut him, he wasn't gonna get picked up by anybody else.
SPEAKER_04Well, and and that proved to be factual, so I don't know. I could we could talk an entire podcast on this. He's a jackalope, you know.
SPEAKER_06He's a jackalope.
SPEAKER_04Boneheaded decision. The next bone-headed decision is they'll keep him and cut Galapanakis.
SPEAKER_06So your boy's in Jackalope, and and we are a little bit salty about it, which leads us right into our live ad read for Half Chicken Man. Legendary craft seasonings. The Jackalope. Classic salt and pepper garlic rub. What you have here is a classic salt and pepper garlic rub, synonymous with Central Texas barbecue. We blended the perfect ratio of SPG and Jack-Ope to complement the flavors in meat. That's what she said. So that it's not that's not what it says here on the it doesn't say that on the side of this thing. That was on ad lemon. Yeah, I'm I'm ad lemon. Salt enhances flavor while pepper and garlic hit the perfect balance that is a staple for the best barbecue joints in the world. This pairs well with chicken, beef, turkey, burgers, veggies, and let me tell you, it pairs well with the chupacabra. I limited that last part too. Brilliant. But this is the half chicken man, you got you gotta try half chicken man. Go on half chickenman.com and use promo code guess what? Command. Command for it now for 15% off of your order. You guys gotta try it. They've got the Jackalope, they got the Yeti, and then their classic Half Chicken Man Hot Honey Rub. So gotta check them out. And we leave you with that to go straight into our third quarter where we're gonna get real spicy.
SPEAKER_00Uh with that, go ahead, guys. All right, so this is for both Dan and Adam. How would you assess the offensive line at this point? I are there any concerns about interior back.
SPEAKER_01I loved that the amount of work that uh Sam and Josh on the right side have gotten. I love the amount of work that Chris and BC have gotten. And uh with Brandon, obviously like Laramie going down, like that sucks. And so we're still working through Warewide Center. We're excited to get Nick back into the fold today, John. So we'll have a you know good sense of him working this week and then the next week with Matt as well. So um, but I don't want lost like you know, the battery of the right side and the left side. I've gotten a lot of good work in together. So um I'm excited to see what can all this week and then into next week bring if with Nick and um kind of rolling with him and that and get going from there.
SPEAKER_06So the third quarter pretty much just gonna be like a pulse check, a gut check, uh uh how we really feel going into uh week zero. Uh, because it was cut day today. Now, obviously, there's we just discussed there's lots of moving parts and pieces that still need to be had. Correct. Um we'll we'll just start off with the the bad to kind of play off of last week's episode of the good, the bad, and the bubble this week. We'll we'll just start off with you know, what are your concerns, Mike? Kind of start us off. Uh obviously, we just heard the clip clip from Dan Quinn. Uh, and his first question asked in the press conference was about the offensive line. So Because it's a fucking concern. Okay, all right. Well, tell us how you really feel.
SPEAKER_04And if you're not concerned about it, you shouldn't be coaching in the goddamn league. Okay. We're if that's his answer, and you can watch the whole press conference, who gives a shit? We're fucked. Okay. If that's how you answer that question, fire him now.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and we apologize for for you dads out there that's got a 12-year-old kid in the car, but you know, that's your bad. You know that this is an explicit con podcast. So this is ridiculous. I mean, but you know, at the same time, you know, that 12-year-old boy sees the same thing that we do, that our offensive line is there's a concern there.
SPEAKER_04And you've known for as long as we've been talking about it all fucking preseason, you need to fix it. But they're not fixing it. They're relying on Well, I hate to play a little devil's advocate here. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_06Go ahead. Go ahead. Well, go check back with our with our boy T O M who who uh had shot out in a text message not too long ago when as soon as Tutson went down and asked you, you see the incumbents check in. Yeah, yeah, okay. They're really now a couple weeks past, and I'm like, well, I think and then we did sign somebody at left tackle.
SPEAKER_04But here's the thing I'm not the head coach.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Ultimately, it's not my responsibility. This guy's shitting the bed on this.
SPEAKER_06I mean, they fit in well in Washington because that was a very political, politician-you know, it was a bullshit non-answer, is what it was. It really was. I mean, but at the same time, what are they both supposed to say? The head coach sitting there with the GM has asked about the offensive line, and you know, what are else are they supposed to say?
SPEAKER_04You could be honest and say, yeah, we've got some improvements that need to be made. We're looking.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, no, I agree.
SPEAKER_04You could be honest and say that.
SPEAKER_06You could.
SPEAKER_04You certainly instead of that stupid non-answer, well, we we like this guy because he snapped us three times, and we like this guy because he did this. Whoopt he fucking do.
SPEAKER_06Just oh man, I can't wait to turn this little segment into a TikTok video where I just push bleep every single time you've had to talk here. It's gonna be fun. Not that I disagree, because I don't disagree. I think we've got we have we have serious things, and I've been saying it since Tunsil went down that we will sign. I've I've had faith in Peters that we will sign a legitimate left tackle to kind of get us over the hump here. Now, it unless I mean they must they must see something that we don't, but at the same time, why did we sign Tuncil to a $30 million contract if we were just gonna be okay with Coleman being there until November?
SPEAKER_04Right, right, right, because clearly you weren't okay a few months ago.
SPEAKER_06Right, you know, so it's like now all of a sudden, yeah, this is they admit, yeah, we're you know, you know, but at the same time, in outside of trading who, and out try outside of trading what, you know, what can they really sacrifice is a is another question, you know.
SPEAKER_02And that's the flip side of the coin at this point.
SPEAKER_06And maybe that's why we have five safeties and four tight ends and and seven wide receivers. I don't know. But maybe that's why it's because our our roster looks a little bit disheveled and incomplete right now. It's definitely not ready for the Philadelphia Eagles, just in terms of the depth. Now, let's transition this as easily and as strategically as we can to like the things that we're okay with. What are we comfortable with, Mike? Like, because next week's podcast, whether you realize it or not, we're gonna project, we're gonna project the the the the season. We're gonna put a prediction out there. I assumed as much. Yeah, week zero is that's what we do. We gotta we gotta predict now that we know our roster, and after we've done our fantasy drafts and but ahead of week one, we gotta put a win-loss to every game. And everybody hates this little exercise, especially me, especially after last season where we thought we were gonna go 12 and 5.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I thought we weren't gonna bring that up anymore, but yeah.
SPEAKER_06Oh my you lucky son of a bitch.
SPEAKER_03What'd you do?
SPEAKER_06Well, remember that comment that I just had about clipping uh this for TikTok and being able to bleep out everything? Yeah, yeah. Well, my my TikTok-y camera wasn't even recording, so lucky.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, lucky because that would have got you all, we would have got all the likes and all the stuff, you know. Well, we can still get all the likes and all the stuff because I mean we've we've moved on, we can we can go back, but I just don't understand.
SPEAKER_06You know, and I'm gonna call a couple people out here. All right. You you got you guys ready for this? I'm gonna call a couple of you out because you guys? Yeah, you guys. I want to call a couple of youth guys out there. And by you guys, I'm talking about our listeners, okay? Because all three hundred and ninety-seven of them, okay. Hey, you know, it's we're we're a growing we we are. So what who who are you who or what are you calling out? Exactly. Thank you. Uh we've got a listener out there in Washington, the state of Washington, and we've got a listener out there uh in the state of Oregon. Um that's out there on the West Coast? Yeah, all the way out there on the West Coast. Now, when I say I know we got listeners, because we get certain analytics, all I know is they download our episode uh from a specific uh location.
SPEAKER_04And we thank them for that.
SPEAKER_06Of course we do, but I also see that they listen to every they download every podcast. But you know what? So they're loyal listeners. They're a loyal listener.
SPEAKER_04We like those even more.
SPEAKER_06But you know what? This is why I'm calling them out. Okay. Well, the listen, the one listener we have in Oregon and the one listener we have in the state of Washington. Okay. Okay. I want them to expand the command the commute network out there. We need more than just one of you.
SPEAKER_04So you're you're tasking them with doing more sharing of their stuff. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yes. I want two listeners in Washington, and I want two listeners in the state of Oregon, right? And so I need them to share this segment of the podcast because whether you're on Apple or on Spotify, and guess what? Next week, I'll know what you're listening to us on, whether it's a uh Apple, Spotify, Amazon, and whether it's your phone or your web browser, I'm going to find out because I get those analytics. I don't like an exciting time to be. I don't get more than that, okay? I'm not gonna stalk you and figure out where you live, but hey, if you do want you're underachieving. If you do want us to send you some merch or something like that, then I want you to get into our DMs on Instagram, get into our DMs on TikTok, and then I want you to say, Hey, I'm the guy from Spokane, Washington. You called out in the last podcast, and I've shared the podcast with three other people. But I know that person. Um, I know that person's just out there, just listening to this, cracking up, because everything I'm saying is 100% true. No argument. You know what? And what about our expand the network? And what about our Singaporeans? They're doing their work out there. We've got more than two or three listeners.
SPEAKER_04I think their job is just to help translate the dialogue.
SPEAKER_06You know what? I'd actually give some honest thought to our Singaporean listeners down there. You know what? I think you know, we get these random emails sometimes from people that wanna that tell me that our SEO analytic optimization is bad and they want us to pay them 50 bucks to to optimize it all out. I think that might be our Singaporean listener.
SPEAKER_04I think I think that sounds like a bunch of bullshit and you shouldn't do it.
SPEAKER_06Have we just we collectively shouldn't do it? Oh no, we're not gonna do it. But I'm trying to figure out where these because I'll get these random emails that just say, uh, hey, we listen to your podcast and we'd love your content, and da da da da da. But we've uh we we think that if you just did this, this, this, this, and this, we could expand your your listening and subscriber network. And then I look at their name and where they're from, and I'm like, wait, what how are you there's no way you listen to one of the podcast episodes, but unless they're from Singapore, and I'm only saying that because listen, if you are from Singapore and you are listening to the podcast and you are a Redskins fan, I've asked you numerous times to one, tell me what you go by. Are you a Singaporean, a Singaporeanish, or are you just a Singapore no? I want to know. It's definitely not the last two that you just rattled off. Well, I like I said, I've asked. They've got the internet over there, they can just go on to however they're listening to this and just push comment.
SPEAKER_04We go by Singaporean, the first one.
SPEAKER_06It's I don't think it's Singaporean. That's just what we keep saying, but we're definitely wrong. It'd be like saying, What do they call down there in Maryland? Morlandos, you know, it's not that's not right. It's Marylanders.
SPEAKER_04We're Marylanders, that's right. Without whatever it is you just did there.
SPEAKER_06Hey, we're tracking the Jack. You know, this podcast, especially when we're gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04But let's get back to what we were already talking about, which is if we continue to play like shit like we did uh against the Ravens, and if Dan Quake continues to be uh so non-committal on the moves that we need to make. I just gone. I just is gone. I just and replace him with anyone I don't give a shit at this point. I don't give a shit. I mean, you are you are the head coach, you need to be concerned about this stuff. And going into a press conference, you should be prepared for every freaking question that could come across, okay, for the video fucking question, okay, that could come across, okay. You need to be prepared. If you're not prepared, going into a press conference, oh, they surprised us with the question, then you're not doing your job right, okay?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, flat out. I appreciate everything you just said. Uh, I will say to the first portion that you just said, you did contradict yourself a little bit because it's either the preseason, you don't give a shit about it, and it meant nothing, or you did see something out of the preseason that you didn't like and now you're using it against them. So which one is it? It either didn't mean anything or it means something.
SPEAKER_07Good point.
SPEAKER_06There it is. So you contemplate that as you you you put your head down to sleep tonight, and you figure out by the next podcast where you land on the preseason because they either showed us something or nothing. I either give a shit about it or I don't give a shit about it. That was the scale. Right.
SPEAKER_04But if you listen to what we just talked about 45 minutes ago, okay, I said exactly that. That like it doesn't mean anything, but if we play like we did, it's a just a continuation of last season and we can't have it. Lord help us, we can't have it.
SPEAKER_06We can't have it. Okay. We can't have it. Now, to everything else that you rambled off in that last portion of your your rant. Now, I because I don't disagree. And just you I just need to point out that I wasn't even spicy going in. No, I just need no well. Once we just start talking about that chicken banned, use promo code uh command. That's right. Do it now. Yeah, and I'm telling you what, if you this is ends up being like a promotional podcast just because we're not on the road, but everybody else needs to tell their business owners for a rental.
SPEAKER_04If we had that we will promote your product if we had additional sponsors, we'd be plugging them like you wouldn't believe. So sponsor us today.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, which by the way, if you're looking for a house in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, give your boy Bob a call. I I will sell you a house in Chambersburg. So that's my shameless plunt from my own self.
SPEAKER_04Uh but and check the social medias on that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, absolutely. But with that being said, um You were gonna comment on the last portion of what the last portion of what you were ranting about. Um I I don't disagree. They need to be prepared. How on earth did you think that you were gonna sit in front of a bunch of reporters, right? And uh after cut day, how are you gonna sit there and not be prepared that your first question was gonna be about the offensive line? You've got what everybody around the league has been talking about is an awesome quarterback in Jaden Daniels. Everybody knows it. Obviously, you signed Tuncil. We see that he went down with injury. The first question: what you guys gonna do about it? Because you just got blown out 41 to 3. You didn't start any of your offensive line. We're supposed to see something out of your depth, and we didn't see that either because getting beat in the trenches is basically what the theme of that last game was on both sides of the rock. I mean, we sucked. Uh uh if and I get it.
SPEAKER_04Well, anytime you lose 41 to 3, you suck. That's all you need to say. Doesn't matter if it's your first string, second, third, fourth, it doesn't matter. Anytime you lose 41 to 3, you suck.
SPEAKER_06Now you suck when? I'm telling you, now we go into week one here against the Eagles, and if we see a product on the field that was anywhere near what we saw throughout the preseason, now look, I'm just another yeah, I know I don't think that that's what's gonna happen because you got Jaden Daniels back there. Now in in in on both sides of the ball, the coordinators are like we said in the last podcast, very a very simplistic form of of their offense and defense. So you're not you're not running your your all your plays. Um but my big concern is just that the fundamentals really haven't seem like they've been there too. So we'll we'll we go we're about to find out. We'll see. I do feel good that we have Jaden Daniels. I do feel good that uh as far as our our starting offensive lineup, it looks improved.
SPEAKER_04As far as as far as our starting defensive lineup, because to bring it back to what you said, like a positive, like our offense as a whole looks real good.
SPEAKER_06Outside of the offensive line, which is still a question mark, but even still, I think three out of the five, and uh, here's what I'm just hoping to God, and I know Dan Quinn is stressing about it. He's hoping to God that Nick Algradi's calf muscles don't become a little bit tighter, you know, come come uh the season opener. But yeah, I mean, I think we need to settle down and just recognize that our roster does look improved. I am excited to see what we do on defense in the next couple of weeks here, leading into week zero, because we gotta have another cornerback. So we're gonna have another cornerback. Um, but I'm still excited for the season. I I I think we're gonna be better than we than we were last year, but how much better is still to be determined.
SPEAKER_04Uh and we'll we'll get into that as we uh you know make our predictions on the season on next week's episode.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but we still got our fourth quarter here, buddy. And this is where we're getting at our hodgepodge section. There's no sound effects, there's no rollover, we're just gonna be.
SPEAKER_05We just roll right in now.
SPEAKER_06Uh hell, hell yes, and hell no. We introduced this last week. I've just got one for you today. Have you thought of any since last week? No, you've given no thought process. Correct.
SPEAKER_02None whatsoever.
SPEAKER_06Well, okay, hold on. Yep, I got a second one.
SPEAKER_02Uh one is enough. No, I guess. So make your best one.
SPEAKER_06No, I've got two because my second one will lead right into another. We'll lead into something else. So my first one. Um I'll play your game. Yeah, you're damn right you're gonna play my game. Josh Harris, Adam Peters, Dan Quinn, hell yes, hail, hell no. Who who you got? Say it again.
SPEAKER_04Sorry.
SPEAKER_06Our three-headed monster of basically football operations or the as it relates to the fan base. Dan Quinn, Adam Peters, Josh Harris, hail yes, hail, hail no. Uh and for those of you that didn't listen to last week, hail yes, hail, hail no is our version of F. Mary Kill. And if you don't know what F. Mary Kill is, then I can't help you.
SPEAKER_04Well, I then I I I think that's a relatively easy answer, right?
SPEAKER_05Well, for you it is.
SPEAKER_04You would um I have to make sure I use the the the hail vernacular.
SPEAKER_06So um I would say hail yes to Big Pause for something that was easy. The owner? Yeah. Hail yes to Josh Harris? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Alright, hail and then it would be um it would be hail no to Dan Quinn and then Peter Peters.
SPEAKER_06I uh agree. I agree. Alright, um my next uh hail yes, hail hail no is going to be um 1984. Wait, not nineteen eighty-four, night well, eighteen eighty-four, the Taylor Sheridan TV show, the Yellowstone, and then Doughton Ranch. Oh.
SPEAKER_04Oh. You're gonna make me really think about that.
SPEAKER_06That's a good one, right? And while you're thinking about it, the reason why I'm asking this is because this past week that I saw um the 46s show that we've been over. I think that's completely dead now. It's dead dead. Yeah, I think it's completely gonna see it. We're never gonna see it, which is crazy because at one point in time we were so gonna see that show. I remember looking for baked beans in the in the grocery store, looking for canned baked beans, and seeing that there was a uh 4.6's Yellowstone like promotional product that was in the baked bean aisle. They were making chili, they were making stuff that you could buy, that show. But then that was short-lived for like three months.
SPEAKER_04So the hail no is 1883, the hail yes is the original Yellowstone, and um then the hail would be uh the Duncan the Dun Ranch.
SPEAKER_06So you like the more modern uh Western than than the throwback?
SPEAKER_04Because I and I you've seen all three. We've I've seen all three. Just when you look at how they tell the story and just everything, I just I think that's the way it goes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, now I did see him. We were this was supposed to be on last week's Hot Podge, but my favorite, one of my big well, I can't say one of my, it is Sons of Anarchy is my favorite television shows. Now yeah, we talked about that all the time. Now look, look, look, look. I know what people are thinking as I say this, your favorite TV show. Like it's so it's a broad statement. But what I mean by that is like your your drama, like you know, like the office, Seinfeld, Friends, uh, the sitcoms, though those don't fit into what I'm saying. That that's a different category of TV show. Um Jeopardy, not on this, you know, competition shows, not on this list. Uh reality TV, not on this list.
SPEAKER_04One hour dramas.
SPEAKER_06Right, right. So, like your your long form TV shows that have become so popular here over the last decade or so. Um, but Sons of Anarchy, top of the list, and they are doing a a um a reboot. And when I first saw the headline, I'm like, hell yeah. Agree. Right? And then once I dug in a little bit deeper and saw the premise of the show, correct me if I'm wrong if it's a different article that you read, but it looks as though the Sons of Anarchy actors, uh, the show is basically the actors are going to like an autograph Comic-Con type of a signing. So and they are them, they and they find themselves into a uh uh a real life biker situation. So it's a scripted show where the actors themselves are playing uh dramatized versions of themselves. Yes. So not a fan of that premise. Straight up. It gives you the team back together, you know. It gives it, it gives you a little bit of a lot of things. I mean, if I was to watch I mean, we're definitely gonna watch it.
SPEAKER_04I don't like the premise. I told you when we talked about it over the last week or whatever it was. It's just not what we're doing. It reminded me a lot of the the uh the 90210 uh spin-off that they did with the actors, but they were again like this, kind of playing exaggerated versions of themselves, but not the characters that they were playing. Right. So this seems very similar to that. You're the actors are playing exaggerated versions of themselves, but not the characters that they were made famous for.
SPEAKER_07Right.
SPEAKER_04So I will watch, but uh I don't have high hopes. I just don't.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Have you figured out what's coming out next? Like, you're the movie guy. Like, what's the last what's the last movie that you saw? Have you have you had a little drought here?
SPEAKER_04Uh I have, honestly, a little bit, but this past weekend, what did I watch? Oh, uh, the Dog Stars came out. That uh like apocalyptic movie with um whatever that guy's name is.
SPEAKER_06It's not the Brad Pitt that's on um no. There is a Brad Pitt dog movie coming out.
SPEAKER_04This is the Dog Stars with that guy from Euphoria.
SPEAKER_06Jacob L.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Ellerby or whatever his name is. It was an okay movie. It was good, it wasn't great. You know, I wouldn't spend my even though I spend my money on it, I don't in theory spend my money on it.
SPEAKER_06So but I wouldn't spend my money on it. I'll I'll be honest. And look, we're we're we are seeking sponsors before ahead of week one here. So like if a movie theater wants to reach out to us, then by all means, we'll shout you out and we'll we'll watch movies exclusively there. But for your Regal Pass, you're what, 18 bucks a month? Yeah, like 20 bucks. I think if you want to watch Netflix in 4K and utilize Netflix out to the wazoo, it's damn near up to about the same thing.
SPEAKER_04So for you to I mean at this point, I'm probably spending the same amount of money on my Netflix subscription as I am there, you know, the regular movie pass.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. No, I mean it makes it makes sense. And there was a free plug for that. Especially with me motivating you to go see as many as humanly possible.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm up to like 43 or 44 right now. 44 movies on the year? Something like that. Let me check real quick.
SPEAKER_06We're doing you're up to September.
SPEAKER_04What's your yearly record? 62? 60. 60, I think, is is the is the record.
SPEAKER_06And this would be a hell of a year to beat it because there's not really been a whole heck of it.
SPEAKER_04I'm up to 43.
SPEAKER_0643. Well, look, you're on the app. What's our next one? Oh, I'm not on the I'm on my list. Oh, your notes. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I'm looking forward to the next one.
SPEAKER_04Uh I mean, I'm more into the stuff that's streaming right now. Like Ted Lasso, uh Lanterns is like two episodes in. I haven't watched the third episode from just last night. I watched it last night. Um, but so far, so good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um I don't get overly critical. I'm a big comic book guy. Uh and I don't get overly critical. There's a lot of uh comic book nerdies out there that's like that's not how it was portrayed in the books. And I'm like, I don't give a shit. It was entertaining. Yeah. Um, you know, I don't, I really, really don't get overly critical. Like if I sat through it and it was good enough, then I'm like, I'm happy with my time.
SPEAKER_04I mean, well, you know, I've only seen the only the first two episodes of Lanterns, but I mean, it's good so far.
SPEAKER_06Now, with that being said, I got a Batman tattoo on my right arm. So, like, when it comes to the Batman conversation, I get a little bit more critical, but truth be told, there's not been one come out that I didn't like. So you know what I mean? Like, I'm not the guy to ask about that either. Because when I walked out of the Flash movie, I was thinking to myself, that was good. Now, I will say, the second time I w I watched it, I was like, it could have been better. And then the third time I watched it, I was like, it really wasn't that great. I don't think I've watched it since. But I do like Michael Keaton as Batman, so yeah, you you you really don't get much. I just got kind of engulfed in seeing him back on the screen and and portraying the old Batman. So like that was good enough for me. But then the second time I'm like being overly critical and just like trying to see what everybody else was saying because I started seeing what all the critics had to say.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_06And was like, let's see if they had any valid like validity to it all. And as I'm watching it, I'm like, you know, I think they were right. This did this was kind of off. And part of it is just like DC does such a good job hyping up their product to just under-deliver.
SPEAKER_04You said it right there. Their classic undeliverable.
SPEAKER_06Now, these lanterns was, I think they are executing on now. They did hype it up for a while, though. No, we've been seeing little clips and trailers and stuff for this lantern for a while, but it's good for a show as far as a superhero show goes, because Marvel's put out some pretty shit shows. Yeah. I mean, this last phase of Marvel hasn't been anything to talk about. And that's the other thing. Marvel's gotten to the point to where they've just given you too much.
SPEAKER_04Right. They've they did, they oversaturated.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they did too much. They should have just stuck to two two movies, three.
SPEAKER_04Because I shouldn't to to watch a movie that's coming out in theaters about any Marvel character, I shouldn't have to watch three dozen Disney Plus series just to know anything going into the damn movie.
SPEAKER_06Spider-Man was good. Spider-Man was really good. And now are we gonna watch the endgame with a re-release endgame?
SPEAKER_04No, I've already talked about that at work. I refuse to re-watch endgame or anything for an extra like five minutes of footage.
SPEAKER_05No, no. You know we're gonna you know we're gonna get to see it on Disney Plus.
SPEAKER_04I I will I've already re-watched the stuff on Disney Plus. I'm not gonna watch it in theaters for five extra minutes. And then I'm ready to go.
SPEAKER_06I don't need it to be two hours and 50 minutes.
SPEAKER_04I'll buy my I'll buy my tickets for you know Avengers in December, I'll buy that like November something, and bada bing, bada boom, done.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's just it's just a money grab. That's all it is. To re-release a movie for five minutes of footage that's gonna tie into this movie. No, it's not worth it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's just not worth it. No, I think that they're coming out with a new vision. Is it a show?
SPEAKER_04I know that they're coming out with something. I think it's a show, but I really don't know.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Anyway. It's like Vision Quest or something, right? Is that what it's called? Yeah, it's kind of a gay name. I mean, whatever.
SPEAKER_06All right, let's let's wrap this podcast up for the folks. Because once the hodgepodge gets into uh Vision Quest, it's time to really wrap up to bring this thing home. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, next week, uh, just so you know, Mike, and just so our listeners know, we're we're definitely running through the schedule. We gotta put a win-loss to everything. Uh that's fine. Just to be on record. Now, last year we were on record and our our records were.
SPEAKER_04Here you go, bringing that up again.
SPEAKER_06And come week four, I was like, I'm sick and tired of what we guess blast. So it might happen again, but we have got to do it because what if we're right? We gotta put it on record. What if we're right? What if we're right? We can be. And then I also want to touch on obviously leading into our first game, you know, some classic Washington, Philadelphia Eagles memories. And dude, how come they've never taken any of our trash quarterbacks? We've only taken theirs, huh?
SPEAKER_04There's an answer for that.
SPEAKER_06That'll be in our second quarter. Anyway, thank you guys so much for listening. Of course, this is a Command and Commute podcast where we press record when we leave the driveway and we upload when we get to the stadium. And this would be the portion where we roll it into the stadium. But we're gonna leave that till week three. But thank you guys so much. And of course, this episode brought to you by Hef Chicken Man. Promo code Command 15.
